Fantastic France
My country is France and is located in Europe. When I reached France I learned many interesting things like the government in France. They have a President AND a Prime Minister. The president can serve two terms five years each and the capital is in Paris France. I also learned that children in France start learning English at age nine. We don’t even have the option to learn French until sixth grade. I also loved learning about the French architecture. The Disney movie Beauty and the Beast is based off of a city in France and that is really cool. The Disney movie The Hunchback Of Notre Dame is based off the cathedral of Notre-Dame-de-Paris. One more big thing in France is the Tour-De-France. It think it is a fun race to watch because it is so long one day one person will be ahead and then the next day another person will be. It was so much fun learning about France.

I really liked your presentation and blog. In brazil They don't have the architecture like in France but, they do have a statue called Christ the redeemer.
ReplyDeleteI thought your blog was great! Italy is close to France, I wonder if that is why they have such history in architecture.
ReplyDeleteI loved your blog. You had a lot of interesting information and you explained everything very well. I didn't know that France has a president and a prime minister. Also I didn't know that children in France are taught english at the age of 9.
ReplyDeleteI think that you did a really nice job on your blog! Mexico also has a president as well! That's interesting that the president can serve for two five year terms each! The presidents in Mexico can only serve for one six-year term. You gave a lot of really good information! Good job!
ReplyDeleteSydney, I liked how you found a way to include Disney into your presentation! I never knew that France had a Prime Minister and a President, China only has a president. I also liked learning about the Tour-De-France. It was a really interesting blog and presentation. Good work Sydney!
ReplyDeleteI think that your presentation was really good! The U.K also has a Prime Minister, but not a President. Of course, we all knew you were going to talk about Disney, :) I also think that it is cool that they have a huge bike race there. I take French in school, and so it was fun to learn more about it, good job!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job. And I think we all knew you would talk about disney but I just though about beauty and the beast. I didn't know there was so much more. I also can't believe they start learning english at 9 but I guess english is like our spanish.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is amazing! You have lots of information and I love how you added information about Disney's movie that was based off of a city in France. Even though Austria and France are both in Europe one way there different is that schools in France learn English and schools in Austria learn Hungarian.
ReplyDeleteI like your presentation about France. I realize how little I know about the country and it makes me want to go see it for myself
ReplyDeleteI thought that your presentation was very interesting! It's cool that some of the french architecture is used in Disney. Peru, the country that I studies, has a president that serve 5 year terms like France, except that the president cannot serve two consecutive terms.
ReplyDeleteYour presentation and blog were very interesting. I thought that it was very cool that the tour de france is 2276 miles and it only starts with 60 people. I also didn't know that there is a restaurant on the eiffel tower. I also thought that it was super cool that the kids started learning english at age 9 considering the fact that we have the option to learn french when we start middle school.
ReplyDeleteI think France is a very interesting place based on your presentation and blog. One thing I learned was that millions of people travel to france every year. This is very much like how many tourists also travel to Israel. I also learned that some Disney movies were based on France. Overall, good job.
ReplyDeleteYou presented your pinterest board and opinions very nicely. I like your pictures that you used too. I have been to France before but I actually learned a lot about the government. Russia has a much bigger population than France. In your country people speak french or sometimes spanish or german, in my country most people just speak russian. I really liked how you added in some disney information and fun facts which was very cool. Great job!
ReplyDeletei loved your blog and presentation. I love France even more now! I thought it was very interesting that a scene from Beauty and The Beast was based off a town in France. A scene from The Fault In Our Stars was filmed in Amsterdam.
ReplyDeleteI love that you incorporated Disney, your love, into this presentation and blog. Using aspects of your own culture/love really helps you learn more about the country you're researching. Well done!
