Brilliant Brazil

My country is Brazil. Brazil is located in South America. I learned many things from presidency to sports. It was fascinating to learn about Brazil. In Brazil Winter lasts for 3 months, June to August. Their most common season is Summer. During the Summer it can get as hot as 104 degrees Fahrenheit. The most popular sport in Brazil is soccer, but they call it football. It is really crazy how people wear face paint and wear jerseys to support the team. Brazil’s president is Dilma Rousseff, she is the first women to be president in Brazil. Another thing that was interesting to learn about was Brazil’s government. Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world. There is also a holiday in Brazil that is called Black Awareness day. It was made to honor a black person named Zumbi, who led a group of slaves to freedom, but was killed in the process. At first I didn’t think that Brazil would be that interesting, but the more I learned caused me to be more interested. I had so much fun learning about Brazil. To learn more visit Pinterest.
I'm excited to hear about your journey through Brazil. It is a country that is booming in places economically, but failing in others. I think the Olympics and World Cup will either make or break the Rio area and that Brazil will be highlighted in the next couple years. Let's just hope the water becomes drinkable! ReplyDeleteI think that you did a great job! Like Brazil when you turn a certain age in Australia you have to vote. I think that is really good because they pick the right President or Prime Minister. Brazil was really cool to learn about. Great Job!

ReplyDeleteI think that it is really cool that you did Brazil. I thought it was interesting that you are required to vote when you are between nineteen and seventy years old. I figured that like most of the world including my country, Nepal that soccer would be Brazil's most popular sport.
ReplyDeleteYour presentation on Brazil was really interesting! I think it's awesome that Brazil has a woman president. Peru has a female vice president, but a male president. Also the president of Peru serves 7 year terms, not 4 years.

Brazil is mostly pretty hot and doesn't have winter for long, Russia on the other hand is very cold and has tons of snow in the winter. Its cool that your country has a woman as a president, my country never had a woman as president. Overall good job!
ReplyDeleteImpressive job with your presentation and your blog. I learned many things about Brazil. One example is that just like Israel, Brazil is very much into soccer. Also the climate is similar to Israel. However, Brazil is much bigger than Israel.

ReplyDeleteGood job presenting! I think it is cool that they have the summer in our winter! Even in the U.K, their summer is the same as the U.S! Also, it is really hot there, and not as hot in the U.K! Good job
