My country that I am researching about is Greece and it is located in Europe and is mostly surrounded by the Mediterranean sea. The closest countries to Greece are Turkey, Albania, Bulgaria, and Macedonia. In my opinion I think this project was very interesting on researching a country, but I did not like the amount of homework I got for it. I have pretty much researched about all of the basic not super detailed things and it was a good project. Also Greece's government is a lot like ours in the same way it runs. Another thing is that the first sport for the Olympics was wrestling, and now they might take that out of the Olympics! Another thing is than Greece is in major dept and I think it will not get out of this and I think they will be taken over because of such huge dept. One thing that I find funny is that there is no drinking age law in Greece. That is all for today and have a lovely day.
I'm not sure what you mean by Greece being taken over. Do you think another country will take it over or will countries try to step in and help them rise-especially with it's rich history and influence over the world. I love that your title is in Greek-and that you were able to choose a country that closely is linked with your background. I also hope you show us wonderful pictures of the beauty of Greece!
ReplyDeleteGreece is really cool! Australia and Greece are related because they both have held the Olympics before. It was also cool to learn about the egg fights. I never knew that existed. Greece is such a cool place!

ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job with both your blog and Pinterest. In Brazil they don't have a holiday where you throw eggs, but they do have a holiday to honor black people. It is called Black Awareness day.

ReplyDeleteI could really tell you knew a lot about your country! It was so interesting to learn about the Egg Fights. Greece and China don't seem to have a whole lot in common, other than they have both held an Olympics.
