I researched China for my Nation Project, China is located in the Eastern part of Asia. China had a very interesting history, they had many dynasties or time periods. The first of the dynasties was known as the Shang dynasty it was known for early Chinese writing, and the last of dynasties was the Qing and it is when Chinese Revolutionaries forced a six-year old Emperor Puyi to step down. The Tang dynasty is known as the Golden Age, it was the growth of art, like painting, sculpting, poetry, and calligraphy. The Zhou dynasty is when Confucius taught the people of China about peace and harmony among each other and with nature. I think this is very important because with the peace and harmony between the people we are more likely to fight among one another and pull the Country apart.
In China education is very important. Like many children in America they start their education when they are six to seven years old in an elementary school for five to six years. Much like in America after elementary school they move on to a middle school for three years. But after middle school it's a little different, instead of going to high school they go to a senior middle school for another two to three years. In China to get any higher education you must pass an examination, this examination is taken nationwide and determines what kind of school you go to. The highest scorers go on to a university. I think this is unfair because what if you don't pass, where do you go after that.
China's military has a navy, an air force, and an army much like the United States. Most of the members are are 18-22 years old. They are in jointly command with the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party and the Central Military Commission of the Government. I think that would be very confusing for the Military because many of the members are part of the Communist Party, what if the Government of China and the Communist Party were to go at war, I think it would be unfair because then they might have to chose who to fight for.
China was a very interesting country to study. I really enjoyed learning about this country and I encourage others to learn about it too.

I loved learning about China. France and China don't have much in common but it was really cool to learn about the Chinese New Year and how important it is to China. You did an amazing job
ReplyDeleteI liked learning about China. Australia has nothing really in common with China. It was really neat to learn about the Chinese New Year. I did not know that it was celebrated for five days. That is so cool! I loved your pinterest. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteI liked your blog, along with your presentation. My country is not under communist attacks, but a lot of things are made in the UAE. It was really cool to learn about China and I hope to learn more! Nice job.
ReplyDeleteI did not even know that China was a communist country at all and that was interesting to here! I also did not know that China had a population law, and that they are only having boys and sending all of the girls to adoption.
ReplyDeleteYou did really well presenting today! In Peru, children also have to attend elementary and middle school, but they have have a high school, not a senior middle school which I found interesting that China has.
ReplyDeleteChina is a really cool country. I knew some stuff about China like the overpopulation because when I was researching Nepal I found it. Now they have a gigantic military. I also thought it was bizarre that students take a couple of crazy tests that determine their whole lives.
ReplyDeleteI learned many things from your presentation and blog. I was surprised by the number of army reserves and how effective China's army is. The military is not only huge in china it is even possibly more important in Israel. I thinks its terrible that one of China's rulers was able to mess up china's future with the whole overpopulation idea/reality. Good Job with you blog and presentation.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job on your blog and presentation! I thought the dynasties you talked about were really interesting. The Netherlands did not have dynasties.
