There are cameras everywhere. The government controls what you watch, read, and hear. If you don't listen to the rules, you will be punished. Everyone thinks the leader is a god and the leader is the one who gave them everything, even their children. Americans are not welcome there and they hate the US. I think it is really weird that the citizens do everything they are asked and they should get more rights. If I were them, I would have tried to escape except I would have a really high chance of being shot.
The people of North Korea live under propaganda. They are told what to think and how to act. I don't like what is going on and it is horribly how these people live. They have no clue what is going on in the outside world. They should be able to see other places.
There is a huge crisis going on right now in North Korea. There is a dictator named Kim Jung Un, and he has complete power. The citizens of North Korea have no say in anything, and they have no connection to the outside world. They have no technology, or anything. They are forced to love the leader and thank him for everything that happens. They are basically brainwashed.
North Korea is under the rule of a cruel dictator, and it has been like that for many years. The dictator, Kim-Jong-Un gives his people no rights, they are under the Big Brother rule, in which they are surveillanced and only get to have what the government gives them. He makes them feel like he is the reason they exist, why they have such a "wonderful life" and he is propaganda. The country is also in poverty, they on average barely earn $1,800 GPD, and even the generations have gotten smaller, not in population but in physical size. Kim-Jong-Un is paranoid, which makes him even more dangerous than just being an overall dictator. opportunity I feel bad for the citizens of North Korea, they have no rights, and they may say that everyone worships Kim-Jong-Un, but they have no option but to "worship" him. They have to do everything the government says, having to wake up and go to sleep when they want you too, not getting to know what it's like in the outside world, and only getting so see things the government wants you to see. I would never want to live there, or visit.
In North Korea, they think that their leader is God. Being that isolated from other countries is not a good thing, because it makes you a big target. Also, the United States, a military powerhouse, is allies with the country's heated rival, south korea. they are alligned with China, being the sole reason they are still a country today. If they bomb the south, china and the us will bomb them. I wouldn't escape from north korea, just to a place where people usually aren't. So, it's pretty bad.
North Korea is ruled by the leader Kim Jong Un which barely gives anything to the people living there. The government watches over everything people do and if they do anything wrong they go to jail which is really bad. Basically, people in North Korea have been brainwashed with things like Kim Jong Un is the best for example when blind people got their eyesight back they thanked Kim Jong Un, even though the doctor was the one who helped. They are also brainwashed that Americans are bad. My opinion in regards to the citizens living in North Korea is that they are living in poverty and should not be brainwashed with all these bad things and I hope that they get in good conditions so that the citizens can live like we do.
Right now in North Korea they're going through a very hard time and Kim Jong Un has way too much power. All the citizens of North Korea are believing everything the government tells them and the government is controlling their whole lives. The people are isolated from the outside world and do as their told. Their life is very limited and they don’t have the freedom that we have here in America. I think it’s terrible what their going through and it's complete chaos.

This ruins the economy and angers people. They are also hell bent on destroying their enemies like us the U.S.

Maybe when a new leader after Kim Jung Un will make the country normal and stable again, that is if Kim Jung Un does not attack another country and send them into war and the country will be devastated.

Well I think that they are very unpredictable, and very dangerous. I know this because of the article that we read in SS, it said that little information is known about Nk and that they are very unpredictable. Also the people in NK don;t know the situation that they are in either, they are starving bt they still "pray" to their leader Kim jong un.

Also they have nuclear weapons( They say they have a hydrogen Bomb, but not a lot of people believe it) also they think that their army is the best in the world and could destroy any country. So putting those things together they could launch a nuclear bomb and then within a day not be a country. I feel bad for the citizens of North Korea because a lot of them are either brainwashed or just scared. In a video that we watched a man said that he would kill every american with his one gun to help the great leader. That could not happen so that guy was either brainwashed or sad.
Kim Jong Un, to most people, is not a good leader or person. He watches you, literally watches every move, to see what movies you watch, what books you read, what things you do on the computer, everything. He even goes as far as saying everyone has to have lights out by this time, basically setting a bedtime for everyone in the country. As they said in the VICE Video we watched when the basketball players were going to North Korea, they said that they felt like they were living in a real life Truman show, because everything they did was watched and they knew that everyone knew that there were Americans in NK. Many people from America or around the world may think that the way of life that North Koreans live is very bad and they must be having a terrible life, but probably some North Koreans think that it is a fine life because that is all they know, they haven't had freedom before, so all they know is how to live under strict laws and only watch movies and read books that are okay to watch and read.

Well, I think North Korea is stupid and very rude. They are mean to all their citizens and won’t even let them leave. Maybe if they were nicer and less controlling like a lot nicer and less controlling than their citizens would like it there and it can be more of a developing country but, it’s not because of Kim Jong Un. He is a small control freak. He is probably weak. so somebody should just go up to him and shoot him in the face.

Also, the amount of people in labor camps is extremely devastating. Lastly, one of the worst things in North Korea is the propaganda. They have convinced their citizens that their leader is god. I think the situation in North Korea is horrible. The life expectancy is much longer in South Korea than in North Korea. Even though it is the same people. That is one example of how bad North Korea is.

There is propaganda all over the country to get the citizens to believe they live in paradise. Many citizens are starving because the leader does not provide food for them. I think that North Korea is a little scary and you never know what will happen the second you walk out the door.I also think that people are very scared because it showed in the youtube video it shows people sobbing at the the death of Kim Jong Il you can not tell if they are actually sad or are scared of what will happen next. In every video we watch you see how their are pictures of the leader everywhere which show that they are brainwashed to think that the leader is the most important person in the world.

I think North Korea is a terrible country because it's forcing people to do things or just live a life that is controlled they never show them what the real world looks like or how in other countries the have freedom in speech and in other things. If it was still Korea then all those people would not me starving or scared because they would be free.
